Dental Services

Your pet’s dental health is an important part of his overall health. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have some type of dental disease by the age of three. Dental disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets. Dental disease causes pain and can affect other organs in the body. If disease is left unattended, deterioration of soft tissue and irreversible bone loss will happen, leading to tooth loss.

Common signs of dental disease are tartar buildup, excessive drooling, bad breath, red and swollen gums and or changes in eating and chewing habits.

A thorough dental exam is recommended yearly for both cats and dogs. The doctor will explain to you what dental grade your pet’s teeth are and if a dental is recommended.

We require bloodwork prior to anesthesia on all our dentals. Dental procedures are same day. We would be happy to provide you with an estimate.
