Dogs are considered seniors around 7 years old and cats at 9 years old. Senior pets tend to have a decline in health, and they can have underlying health issues that may not be easily detected by the pet owner. We love to see senior pets twice yearly so that we can catch any of these issues and give your pet a thorough physical exam. Depending on your pet’s lifestyle, vaccines might be less frequent but the exams more frequent. We offer a comprehensive senior wellness package at a discounted price for older pets. Wellness testing can lead to early detection of diseases, which can lead to a longer senior lifespan.
